I am a Plymouth based installation artist whose work relates to childhood in the late 80s and early 90s. I use technology from this time such as television and video equipment, along with specific materials and projection, to create an immersive aesthetic experience that often evokes a nostalgic response.

My work is an exploration and expression of memory, time and space. I work intuitively with materials and a variety of media to recapture the essence of my own childhood in the late 80s and early 90s. Within this, I describe concepts such as the passing of time, nostalgia and the visualisation of a 'limbo' state between the past and the present.
I am also interested in 'objects' from this specific time such as obsolete technology in the form of televisions, VHS tapes and video recorders. Through recognition and association these objects act like portals taking us back to a past experience or another place in time and evoke a nostalgic response.
Through a process of experimentation and exploration of objects and materials, final outcomes are reached in the form of installations or 2D images that I feel describe the concepts I am exploring and create an immersive aesthetic experience.
